Review:

Although I laughed my ass off, it is getting a little bit stale.

Some jokes just aren't funny the third time around. Luckily, there were enough new twists on these old jokes to keep me from pulling my hair out while watching this film. The Dr. Evil/Mini Me rap was even funnier than the musical number from the previous film. Likewise, the exchanges between Dr. Evil and his son, Scott are still really funny and I like the new relationship dynamic between the two of them.

The opening sequence was hilarious. It was worth the price of admission alone. Between Austinpussy and Fat Bastard on the Subway diet, I was quite content to have spent $7.50 at the Lubbock Cinemark, as opposed to enjoying the all nude horrors of the Bunny Run again.

I could have done without the lesion-eating Goldmember - he just wasn't that funny. If there does turn out to be a fourth film (Why not? We're coming up on our 20th Bond film - tell me that franchise isn't more old and tired than your grandmother's douche bag...), I hope that Goldmember isn't a part of it - unless of course the role is reprised by John Travolta instead of Mike Meyers. Oh and Britney Spears...her appearance was as tasteful as one of Goldmember's skin flakes. Why won't she go away?!?!?!

The ending was soooo predictable. SO fucking predictable. I was rather disappointed that those were the best 'daddy issues' they could come up with.

The biggest disappointment though, was the fate of Felicity Shagwell. What the fuck happened to her? I was really peaved that she wasn't even mentioned. Guess I will have to wait for the deleted scenes on the DVD.
